I source this weed directly from the farmers in the Kingdom Of Swaziland - an easily accessible land locked country surrounded by mountains, sharing borders with South Africa and Mozambique.

Swaziland lies about 200km south of the Tropic Of Capricorn and the climate is warm eastern margin - very similar to sub-tropical Durban, without the coastal influence.
The two main crops of Swaziland are sugar cane and weed.

This unique weed is 100% organic, grown outdoors in the mountains and valleys of Swaziland by rural farmers.
This weed has both seeds and stems, which will be compensated for with extra weight.

There are essentially three types of Swazi.
1) Swazi Rooibard (red beard)
2) Swazi Gold
3) Royal Swazi - the one featured here, which is a slight hybrid - probably an accidental cross pollination of one of the European strains and indigenous Swazi. Reportedly grown for the Royal Court of Swaziland - how true that is, I don't know. It is nevertheless, sourced directly from Swaziland.
